Selen Cambazoğlu

She was born in 1980 in Ankara. She moved to Bodrum with her family when her father, an underwater archaeologist, was appointed to the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology. After graduating from Bilkent University, Faculty of Humanities and Letters, Department of Archaeology and History of Art, she worked as a cultural affairs consultant, institution manager and project coordinator in various institutions. After working in the private sector, he was appointed as the director of Bodrum Maritime Museum (BDM), which operates under Bodrum Municipality, in 2018. She pioneered the establishment of a publishing house within BDM within the scope of the transfer of local cultural heritage to the future. She is an amateur captain, diving instructor and mother of one child. She writes children’s books.
